Complete network systems to cover most requirements can be designed, installed and maintained. These can be a simple Local Area Network (LAN) of a few workstations connected to a local server and sharing resources like printers, or a large Wide Area Network (WAN) covering geographically dispersed offices with workstations and servers, possibly with links to associated company’s networks and databases which may be employing different operating systems. In particular, we are experienced at networking Apple Macs and PCs together in the same network.
Geographically dispersed sites can be linked by conventional land line using ISDN or leased line, Internet tunneling technology or wireless connection as appropriate. Network software and licenses can be supplied.
Cabling systems employed are fully structured using CAT-5, CAT-6 or fibre optic as required. PABX telephone exchanges and other communication systems can be integrated or supplied, installed and maintained as part of the contract.

Commercial and Industrial software can be written to your exact requirements, LSA has considerable experience in both disciplines.
LSA is used to sub-contract work and is used within the team environment. We are always willing to give a helping hand when required or undertake complete complex projects – with due consideration to time and resources.
The technology employed on all except simple systems is Client Server using SQL communication between workstations and servers. This allows easy system development if/when necessary. LSA specialise in large database systems and can supply large capacity servers, data vaults and retrieval systems.
LSA can also supply, install, configure and maintain much standard ‘off the self’ accounting and other software. With our trade connections we can often have this modified to customer’s special needs. Alternatively we can develop a bespoke system to meet particularly demanding requirements.
MAINTENANCE, REPAIRS & UPGRADES
LSA can offer competitive maintenance contracts to cover any mix of hardware and software. We can remove the spectre of multiple maintenance providers arguing over which end of a piece of wire lies the fault symptoms! We have the skills and experience to cover a wide range of equipment maintenance and have the backing of specialists for unusual &/or geographically remote equipment. This means that we decide where problems lie and can ensure they are corrected. Maintenance cover for software is also be available ie: complete system cover.
Cover can be arranged on a working day basis or 24 hour / 7 day cover provided if required.
We are able to undertake repairs to all makes and types of computer, including Apple Macs, plus peripherals such as printers and monitors.
Upgrades of processor, memory, discs, operating systems and other components of computers, both PCs and Apple Macs, can be carried out to you requirements in our workshops.
Training will always be arranged for LSA developed software and we are always available to re-train new staff if required. Similar arrangements can be made for LSA installed hardware.
Training can be arranged for most off the shelf products, either by ourselves or via our connections with the industry.
LSA can supply a full range of media and consumables for computer systems, including floppy discs, CDs, laser printer toner cartridges, printer ink tanks, cables, etc.
